The current hardcore scene wouldn't be what it is today without Poison the Well. Their first two full lengths 'The Opposite of December' and 'Tear from the Red' are the albums that changed the game, not only for the players but also for the fans. Both albums went on to sell over 80,000 (160,000 combined) a feat that over 10 years ago was close to impossible for an experimental hardcore band.
