Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Philadelphia-born guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel is best known for his multiple recordings on the Verve label. His 1998 LP Intuit marked his second album as a leader and the only one he recorded for the Criss Cross label. A quartet session devoted entirely to standards, it reveals the depth of the guitarist's expertise in the bop idiom.
