2013 collection from the French singer/songwriter. Born in Paris, in 1933, Sacha Distel was a prolific recording artist who was one of the few singers who was able to transcend the international music scene. On this collection, we offer a selection covering songs sung in both French and English. The first 12 tracks include classic tracks such as "Let's Fall in Love", "Let's Do It", "Cheek to Cheek" all of which are fully suited to Sacha's talents adding in that certain Gallic flair. The second part of this CD we concentrate on songs sung in French including "Caterina", "Sans Toi", "Les Filles, Moi J' Aime Ca!" We finish with "Scoubidou" - a French version of an American hit that was originally sung by Peggy Lee and which was to be the song that catapulted Distel to the top.
