This album collects some rare and precious recordings made during the concerts in which the pianist also performs rare composers to find in Decca, above all Grieg and Chopin. As for Rachmaninov's Third Concerto, the edition proposed here is the very rare performed in Los Angeles, at the Hollywood Bowl, under the direction of William Steinberg.
